| Appealing rhythm guitar, both concerning sound and chord choice, but maybe it could have been even a little louder compared to the lead guitar? On first listen I reacted to the panning (that maybe it would sound better with less difference in the panning of the lead and rhythm), but on second listen I'm not sure about that. It sounds perhaps a little more interesting as it is. As far as I can tell, the rhythm guitar sticks with the i, iv, v chords plus variations/additions occasionally, and the first specific sequence I thought I recognized was v - iv - i, but I'm not positive. I'm on the third listen now, and I notice details/somewhat uncommon phrases here and there which I increasingly like. |
